Recommendation from the Raging Bull

Macromedia (MACR): MACR shares declined $1.25 per share last week in a relatively weak technology market. We are very disappointed by Wall Street's reaction to Macromedia's Q4 earnings report. The company exceed the street's expectations by 67%, earning $.05 per share, reversing a year earlier loss of $.41 per share. Revenues rose 127% and gross margin was an astounding 92%. The lack of share movement is surprising considering the popularity of Internet stocks as of late, and the support of Wall Street analysts who have upgraded MACR shares. Maybe MACR could launch an on-line music store to spark a rally. Regardless, we still view MACR as one of our top- picks right now. We shall put our money where our mouths are and purchase 250 more shares at the open tomorrow morning.
