Alex,

I pass all the alerts from the email service I use to my son who bought several hundred shares of MSFT several years ago on my "advice" and has doubled several times since then... boy is HE happy. Here are my FEELINGS about MSFT:

Positives: MSFT is world leader in PC software and hold a position similar to what IBM did in the 70s and 80s as far as mainframes go. IBM could do no wrong but they did go through their OWN share of legal battles... and if I recall rightly, did hurt the stock. What eventually killed IBM so they had to reinvent themselves was basing their fortunes on a product line which was being challenged through new technology and new equipment - the PCs. So I wouldn't worry about the legal side or the SEA side <<gggg>>.

Negatives: from a TA standpoint, if we break 80 on the downside, could easily retest 60. I, for one, hope my son takes his money and runs for the time being.

BWDIK?

Bill
