Think about it. Who has the better legal minds in their corner? Reno's flunkies or MSFT? MSFT went fishing to see what the government had in this "expanded case" and in Gates' words found that they had no basis in law. This is all political and the courts will not appreciate having this meritless case and its bizarre remedies brought before them. If MSFT thought the government had a case they would still be at the table. MSFT's lawyers are the best they are not political hacks. JFD
