I too have been following NMO for some time and Tks Michael for starting this group. The CEO John Pennal was interviewed on CBC a few weeks ago and admitted that he did not expect to collect that 100 million awarded to the company. That being said the cancelling of 5.4 million shares should boost earnings by about 50 %. The cancelling of 5.4 million shares a $ 4.75 per share is worth about 25.6 million. This 25.6 million divided by the remaining +or- 10 million shares should add about $ 2.50 per share to the book value which is already well above what NMO is trading at.

I was reading on a company called South China Industries (T.SGC) and noticed that the CEO was John D. Pennal. Does anyone know if this is the same guy who is CEO of NMO? SGC owns a tire plant in China and have been loosing lots of money for quite some time.

Mario.
