Absolutely. However, the thread needs jtechkid's perspectives to keep all viewpoints current and alive. No, I wouldn't short, and i still believe AMAT's a gteat longterm cornerstone investment, but man shortterm outlook really does suck compared to the go-go years recently. I was spoiled when the three year( 1993-1996) average growth rate was like in the 40% range. Ah, those were the days my friend, we thought they 'd never end, la la la la ... And yet this downturn doesn't look or feel at all like the ones in the 70's and 80's. Those were stonecrushers.
