Put yourself 1 year ahead of today. Say it is May 99. Do you think you will be glad that you were a pessimist back in May 98? Human behavior is to get mired in todays news. Just the way I am not worrying about events that made MSFT go down 20% form July 97 to December 97, I am not worried going forward. Even if microsoft conceded to every one of the DOJ and AGs requests and agreed with SUNW's requests, I think MSFT will continue to grow at average 30%+ rate over the next 5 yers. johnd
