currahee - 1811 - i don't have that cheap of a position and i am biased..... you don't either but you are bias too.... in the other direction. you don't give someone a cheap position that can't move the stock imho...

chad - 1821 - using your numbers.... the jv drilled a 3 inch hole until they reached the kimberlite and then expanded the drill to 5 inches.... they then air blasted the kimberlite to get the "stuff" out of the 5 inch hole through the 3 inch hole.... uranerz and debeers swore by the method but it failed (based on only 20% of the "fakes" being recovered...) miserably other than it taught the jv never to use that method again.... i agree with your feelings that if it were one big drill we would get better results.... at a minimum they would be more reliable results.... imho...
