Interesting article regarding Lam and Novellus co-developing a suite of tools for Cu: biz.yahoo.com It would seem like a nice synergy, Lam with the etch/CMP and Novellus with the CVD/PVD. I wonder if the two companies will decide upon a common cluster platform in the near future. I also missed the article regarding Lam, and would be very interested in what they said and their logic.
