"Are these results suppose to be good?"
Yes.

Gold Equiv value is 0.53.
A 10 ton per day pilot plant produces 5.3 ounces per day. (July 98)
A 2500 ton per day plant produces 1325 ounces per day (Feb '99)
A 10,000 ton per day plant produces 5300 ounces per day ( March 2000)

Gross receipts per day (based on $300 gold)
10 tons $1590.00
2500 tons $397,500 per day
10,000 tons $1,590,000 per day

Previously, Maxam has stated that cost per ounce of production
is very low. Maybe as low as $50-60 per ounce.
10,000 ton facility could kick out as much as 1,000,000 per day
...net, of costs.
And remember, MXAM has 70,000 acres staked and ready to be mined.

What's also important to note is that this represents the first
COC RECOVERY results I can remember for platinum.
I don't think IPM ever published COC RECOVERY numbers for anything
and was hesitant to even mention platinum.
