Darren,

Let's disagree and still remain friends!

You don't seem to have read my posts correctly. I was not suggesting Cyber offer training on trading in general, but training on how their specific software is designed to function and how it is properly used - operator training on the software only. I say this after seeing users post questions here that suggest they do not understand the software, and from the many private emails I get from users asking me specific questions about the software. There are a lot of people who don't understand many of CyberTraders proprietary features.

I have contended that training is important, particularly because the operator manual doesn't cover everything and because of the complexity and sophistication of CyberTrader. If you don't agree that training is important, then you are in a minority. Maybe you are not so interested in training because you feel you know everything you want to know and you don't remember what it's like to be a "newbie." You and I may disagree, but I respect your right to have an opinion that differs from mine.

Regarding your comment, " I have yet to see you put forth the effort to show them how it could be done better," well, I have done plenty, believe me, Darren, plenty. I have done plenty for Cyber Corp directly, actively promoting them (because I still believe Cyber is the best available) and recruiting new clients, by trying to get some features that would make it better for all of us, and I have assisted many, many traders, both here, in private emails, and on the telephone. I have spoken with Cyber executives on many occasions, written many thoughtful, detailed, sincere letters regarding various ways I believe they could improve their services to clients. So your statement is quite wrong and unfair to me, given the many hours I have spent trying to get improvements for all of us.

Your comparison of using a Schwab website for trading versus using CyberTrader is not valid. They are not remotely similar and we all know that. CyberTrader is infinitely more complex and powerful. That's why we all gave up our Schwab accounts for daytrading in favor of Cyber, isn't it?

Comparing driving your car to trading with CyberTrader is also ridiculous. But we all realize the need for proper training before using a car. In fact, we require a driver education course, a test, and a license in order to drive, don't we?

Darren, your statement "But I would suggest that if something bothers you with CyberCorp, you offer them possible solutions and stick to a constructive method rather than just ranting on SI" is not very polite. But I don't believe you intended it that way, but what you said is not correct and not fair to me. I have offered them solutions and I don't consider my posts here to be "ranting," as you put it. Everything I say here is meant in a constructive way. And I have helped countless traders who have written to me with specific questions or for advice or with suggestions and comments of their own.

Whether you ever agree with me on the need for training, the point is this: CyberCorp originally promised me a lot of training and I am just very disappointed now to see that, with the departure from the company of one key individual, they seem to have completely given up on the idea.

You don't have to agree with me, obviously. But I would appreciate it if you would show the same respect to me that I show to you and refrain from referring to my well-intended posts as "ranting." Surely we can agree to disagree on this one point and still remain friends. I have great respect for you as a trader, and I don't want to lose your friendship over this stupid little point.

I would like to remain your friend, and, having said plenty enough already about training (which is only one of several issues I have at this point), I will leave that issue for now having said enough for anyone interested to know my feeling. If my email is any indicator, however, I am not alone on this matter. You are the only one who has ever seemed to not get my point.

Regards,

Bill
