Pete, it will matter because the establishment needs to find scapegoat issues so they can continue to screw future generations. In the 20's they blamed margin. In the 87 crash they blamed program trading. I am not saying that these were not issues but some investors believe that mkt collapses can be prevented because they "fixed" de problem.
