Let's just look at one point. If MSFT is the operating system, what does DOJ want the boot screen to show? The name of the hardware it's installed on? I don't understand this request.

Also, another point since you got me started, we all have the choice to use NSCP or IE and I choose NSCP and my husband uses IE. There is no conflict. I'm free to use what I want and it's readily accessible too. This is the same as asking KO to also distribute Pepsi!

Finally, I resent government interference in normal business activity. Just because NSCP couldn't manage their lead on browsers does not mean that the DOJ has to help them be better business people.

I'm not so much defending MSFT as opposing government interference in business. This is not like MSFT is dumping sludge in our rivers!
