Bill and others who are interested,

Perhaps I'm just not digging deep enough, but I have found nothing concerning an FNTN contract with Hill Publishing on "Business Wire" (message 1775). Again, it might be there, but I haven't seen it.

Trying to find the source of this information (message 1775), I have come to the following conclusion:

From reading many of the post on the FNTN thread, I can't help but think one of two things: first, 80% of the messages are simply self congratulatory and meant to inspire confidence in themselves, by other members, and their abilities; or second, 80% of the people who are posting messages have never made money in the stock market, are simply excited and are placing all of their hopes on their dreams for this stock.

I don't know about you, but I read very few messages that address the reality of the stock market and what drives a stocks price.

I read messages that a float of 11 million is relatively small (give me a brake). And how other people "just know" there are new "press releases" sitting on someone's desk waiting to be released, thereby having a direct impact on and controlling the stock price.

I read messages by others trying to promote another stock and or doing their best to tie FNTN to the performance of another stock (stocks with half the float or having an unrelated customer base). (There are a lot of vehicles using the highways and interstate systems, crisscrossing the United States, but they are not all Fords and they don't all by fuel from TEXACO. Much less, are they all going to the same place.)

IMO, the 80% I'm referring to are either pumping FNTN, for themselves, or know nothing about the market and how it reacts; much less, what drives a stock. In addition to this, 50% of what I read is repetitive and redundant in nature. Many, in this 50% category, seem to think their friends have access to the SI thread, but not a quote system. (For those interested, Yahoo reports quotes faster then the SI system - compare it for yourself.)

Like others, I have my core holding in FNTN and plan on staying long.

Like some of the people who post on the FNTN thread, I have paid a great deal for my education - in the stock market (this is simply the high cost of education). With this in mind, I think I'll simply take a vacation from the FNTN thread. I'll check in on weekends, simply to keep up with my reading, but unless there is a change in the quality of messages posted, I'll place no importance on 80% of what I read.

As a final word, IMO, many comments from one SI member to another should be sent via the "private message" service provided by SI, thus leaving the thread for pertinent information.

See everyone - who stays - on the other side of two dollars, when ever that is.

Bon Voyage and Best Wishes and Good Investing to All.
