I think the whole concept behind this deal is the assumption that the parts are worth more than the whole. The hope is that your share of the EN division will go up in value with the IPO. And they are "giving" you the option of buying a larger piece of that before the offering goes public. Not sure how well it's going to work. As for me, I'd just as soon they just sell the division out right to the highest bidder.
