It was not my intention to personally offend you, or anyone else. If you are offended ( you say you are), it is by choice, not reason, as I have fully explained my usage of the word (I didn't need a dictionary to look it up). It is not I, but management that considers you to be a lackey, I only consider you to be inexperienced in posing questions, and understand that management used this to avoid the hard questions.
I felt the Feb letter sent to management addressed the issues that I felt were important, and didn't clutter the board with "ata boy's". However at the conference call those issues were not addressed, and felt that the SI representative (that was you) had accepted the responsibility to see too it that they were. If this assessment brings you discomfort, please accept my apologies in advance.
Once again we are faced with a CC where a letter has been composed (the issues that I want to hear addressed are in the letter), and the SI representative (Ed) to the conference call is aware of them. It remains to be seen whether the issues will be addressed this time. If my post has emboldened Ed, to be a bit more aggressive in his questions, then the purpose of my post has been served.
I have participated in CC's in the past (other companies, BNGO is only one stock), and find no shame in forcefully asking hard questions in a respectful manor, and hope that Ed is of a like mind.
I have no plans to attend the shareholders meeting at present; I have not decided whether to wiggle out of my position (with the volume of late, you can't just blow it out), and look for better opportunities, or to hold onto it; I suspect the answer will be forthcoming shortly, dependant upon what I hear on the CC. At present, I am leaning towards accepting the trading loss, against other trading income YTD, but will wait until after the CC to make a final decision, as there is still value in BNGO if management can re-establish shareholder confidence.
