Charles (and Pancho), though I'm not arguing all is perfect in Citi, isn't the resignation you cite most likely a result of his position being in jeopardy with the merger? If he came there 6 months ago from GMAC, does he stand a chance in holding such a high level, capital markets/corporate finance position in the new CitiGroup? More likely the Salomon/Smith Barney people will take control of his areas of responsibility within Citi. Just an alternative thought. Bob
