Tut, tut, Mr. King.
>>Life is never simple and exploration is a brutal life.<<
Ol' Crebs thinks exploration is a grand and prosperous life. It's "brutal" only when you think you "can't miss", heh-heh. (Mother Nature abhors (and can be "brutal") to the cock-sure arrogant.)
BTW, my pretty X-DFR geologist (now VP Corp-Affairs Pan American Silver) called to read me Harvey's quote in Saturday's FP about confidentiality and leaks--an interesting VB-discussion ensued.
BTW, 1) I never sign those stinking "Confidentiality Agreements"--e.g., if you can't trust me, don't hire me--and, 2) Rosie sends you her fondest regards.
I think William may be right about massive sulfides--SVB needs Ovoid-type +2%-nickel (and volumes of) "massive" sulfides to be economic at +100-metre drill depths (I think Duluth and Musk Ox will probably NEVER be economic because their large volumes of mineralization is too disseminated and low grade). Vaughn's the guru of valuation, though, his comments on SVB economics would be lucid.
William is wrong about the DFR "fluke" though. I'm always amazed that so many believe the bullshit about "how DFR stumbled on the Ovoid" and "all the EASY ore has been found" -- it's never been easy but it has always been fun. Only "experts" talk "flukes" and "serendipity"--but the esteemed "experts" never spot "discovery" drill-holes now do they, heh-heh.
Regards, T.
P.S. Has Donner/NAI/Teck wised up and hired a "wizard" yet?? Seems their technical talents could use some upgrading, IMNSHO.
P.S.S Looks to me, Donner may be hoping for "serendipity" if they are indeed drilling "blind" thru gneiss. No mention of basal breccia in PR could suggest a certain geo's hope for imbricate/mineralized-repeat.
P.P.S.S. Palladium is up nicely on Noril'sk's FU's--my old Stillwater Montana prospects (SWC.Amex) are proving very profitable right now. |
