Zack I have an initial position in DGIV. I am following closely and will average up as the picture becomes clearer. No doubt, a lot of potential in this outfit. Zack I also am a Wolfpack grad., '82. I'm in Greenville, N.C.
The extreme bullishness on this thread concerns me some. I have learned a valuable lesson (to me) in my investing years: Don't fall in love with a stock. The comraderie and togetherness in this stock is amazing, no doubt. But, all industries these days are cut throat with competition. I like JC's strategy of wrapping up the emerging markets with their technology. But, I cringe when I read posts predicting a stock price in the 100's within 12 months as if it's a done deal. Don't get me wrong I like this little company. But hey guys, there are only 20 employees in DGIV, they only made $5 mil. last year. They earned, what? .22 last year. Very impressive, and it does appear that they are undervalued, maybe a lot undervalued. For sure if/when they make the NASDAQ listings the stock will jump. But, I cringe when I hear some talk about it being a $60 stock as if it's a slam dunk.
I would be interested in seeing earnings calculations using realistic estimates of revenues and profit margins. I have spoken with Roger T. about trying to see some estimates of earnings for this year and what type of margins they might expect. As well as he knows the business he is hesitant to make any guesses as to margins or revenues. I don't know this industry well, but I don't see DGIV making the 75%+ margins I have seen used making calculations on this thread, and then paying no federal taxes.
DGIV is an exciting company in a high tech. industry. I am glad I have a long position in it. But I will be satisfied with doubling my money by the end of the year. Good luck to all.
