Do any traders out there have an explaination for this?

You should drop in on the Trading TAVA thread.

The drop is artificially induced, as is evident by looking
at the trading logs -- why, I don't know. There are a number
of possible reasons: lack of inventory, spooking weak hands, MMs
keeping the price low for big clients, MMs shorting the
stock, prepping for options, etc.

If you want to add to your position, this is a good time
for both longs and daytraders alike. I wouldn't sell a
share now, however.
