Bob, where to start. My aunt was in the hospital for 2 days from drinking D.C. water. Tens of thousands have fallen sick across the country from the drinking water.

But I wasn't even talking about drinking water really. I'm talking about natural rivers and lakes. You and I know not to drink it because it has all that pollutant garbage in it. How then does it surprise you that all the fish die or mutate to have 3 eyes like the ones in Waynesboro's South River after it passes the "unpolluting" DuPont plant? I've caught more deformed fish than you could ever imagine.

Reagan's Congress WAS liberal. I said that Bush's was more liberal. What we need is 100% moderates, get rid of all the damn liberals and conservatives. Get people who can find real answers.

I don't care if Perot is history, I'm not a big fan. But he's helped organize the largest Third Party in history. When he leaves, do you expect the Reformers to just go back into the woodwork? No, they'll still be there, and don't be surprised when their candidate get into the 2000 debates!

If the prosecution didn't approve those jurists, they would be forced to approve others exactly like them. Who else but uneducated people would not have seen anything about OJ in the newspaper before then? Are you trying to tell me that that jury was college-educated? Try 1 if I remember correctly.

There should be no jury if they are to be the dumbest people the defense can find. Only a judge and the truth. There should be more requirements to be a judge and no lawyers. The country would be a much better place.

And it doesn't make sense to be short at the end of a 22-year bull market? Seems to me that's the best time! Wait for the market to fall on its ass while still making money (INTU is down 55% in this great bull market year) and when it does, buy to cover, buy long, and help pick up the pieces. You and me will be the only ones with much money left to invest, don't you see?

Never short after a market crash is more like it. Always short in the tail end of a bull market. This is the longest bull market ever known to the U.S. stock market.

It is liberal to raise the gas tax and spend the money. It is progressive to do the same and lower the other taxes accordingly or pay off some of the deficit with it.

I was 4 to 12 when Reagan served. Does that mean I can't read an economics book now that I'm in college? Does this also mean I don't know LBJ's Congress was liberal because I wasn't around back then?
