Microsoft Monopoly Abuse -Running to Substance?

RE:"How is any of that (abuse of monopoly position), if true, hurting the consumer?"

Nick: Your response is very revealing. Is this a trick question? Where are you coming from?

I would expect free market capitalists, regulators, socialists, liberals, libertarians, and conservatives to be of one mind on this question, at least on theoretical grounds.

As to actual damages to consumers, I would expect consequences to follow theory in due course.

PS: The Answer: Free competition in the marketplace: Good. Market regulation by Monopolies/Government : Bad. Because: Prices could be even lower / quality could always be higher in competitive situations. (Its some sort of economic law.)
