MSFT may be playing its best hand in the DOJ suit. If MSFT can keep its case in the courts for years and years it could continue to operate business-as-usual. Its legal expense would probably be viewed as a cost of doing business, and a pitance compared to any proposed settlement. I like Netscape but don't use it anymore because so many are now using Explorer. I also used to own a Mac. Like it or not MSFT has the upper hand. Today looks more like a buying opportunity than anything else.
