Neil, <<Compaq acquired well-respected clustering technology when it bought Tandem last year, and the companies are moving that proprietary technology to NT/Intel servers>>> Although I'm not surprised,I'm disappointed in Compaq. They must have been working on this proprietary clustering scheme for a while and decided to move ahead with it. Other companies would be a different story. They don't own a 'Tandem'. FC is versatile and is ANSI standard. I wonder what's the distance limit and speed of this ServerNet and how many nodes can be clustered together. KJ
