I would say try reading a book on Logic in English. In order to have a market like 73-74 you would have to have circumstances similar to that era of which you do not. Let's see what exactly was happening in 73-74. A failed war that splintered the country...very high inflation along with high unemployment and a President that was near resignation. Not exactly what you would call status quo and if there is one thing that is a certainty, the markets love the status quo. And with that, this country is about as status quo as it has been in a long time.

I wouldn't worry though, I am sure that those rich pollutin Republicans will do anything to avoid a crash.

In order to have a crash you will need participants...where you going to find them?
