Intel cancels mobile Katmai: techweb.com AMD and IDT will have over a year to offer mobile 3DNow before Intel offers a mobile chip (Coppermine in 11/99) with it's new 3D instructions (KNI). Mobile gamers may have to opt for K6-2 and C6+ to get the low cost 3D performance they need in a laptop for the rest of this year and most of next year. Pravin.
