Freeus, besides Bill saying in that article ""I was naive and thought all I had to do was produce a successful product"; he could well have added "produce a successful product and pay 36% of the profits to the Federal government." It's the ultimate insult. The DOJ is using federal tax revenue to pay their lawyers' salaries with, including Klein's.

I'm wondering why Intel doesn't have to bundle a 3Com NIC with every chipset they sell. It's the perfect analogy. 3Com has a dominant share of NICs, right? Just like Netscape has dominant share of browsers. But Intel, that big bad bully, wants to make NICs too. And they obviously have more resources. It's not fair! 3Com needs to slip Klein a $20 bill so he will go after Intel and make them bundle 3Com's NIC with every processor sold. Oh and scrap that "Intel Inside" logo, that's obvously predatory.
