Tom and ALL IDTI investors,

Michael Murphy was on CNBC this morning, and he said that he expects computer demand from businesses to pick up soon. He suggested that the semis will get back in favor after they release their earnings in april. He thinks the institutions will start getting back in April. He mentioned IDTI and CY specifically as two great companies to be buying. He said that if you are an individual investor this a great opportunity since the funds don't want to pick up these stocks before the end of the quarter.

On a separate note, based on WSJ data, the % of IDTI held by institutions has increased over the past month from 77.3% to 79.3% and the number of institutions that hold the stock has increased from 259 to 270. This tends to fit well with a B accumulation/distribution rating in IBD. However, I noticed that IBD on Tuesday (12 March) indicated that # of funds own for IDTI = 16 (and decreasing)? is this the number of funds that currently hold the stock or the percentage of outstanding shares held by funds? does anyone know what this last column in IBD stand for, it is presented on tuesday? I believe it is the number of funds that hold the stock. And if so, why is this number so different from the WSJ data (briefing books).

All comments are welcome.
