~$250 DVDs in China. 50M VCD units stacked up in 1998. VCD sales in China: 1995 = 1.7M units 1996 = ~7M (total market was ~8M) 1997 = ~18M (total market ~21M) Could 1998 be 50M in China alone? No, they will just have to stack them up.
