Bill --
Please accept my sincere apologies if you feel I was unfair in calling your previous post a "rant." The connotation was not meant to be demeaning, simply to say that a complaint should come with something constructive for them to improve upon. Obviously, your work on the back-end (letters, calls, etc) didn't do your post or my post for that matter any justice...
Maybe you are not so interested in training because you feel you know everything you want to know and you don't remember what it's like to be a "newbie." Believe me, I'm a newbie too...and I for one can say I know how many traders you've tried to help out...
Whether you ever agree with me on the need for training, the point is this: CyberCorp originally promised me a lot of training and I am just very disappointed now to see that, with the departure from the company of one key individual, they seem to have completely given up on the idea. You don't have to agree with me, obviously. But I would appreciate it if you would show the same respect to me that I show to you and refrain from referring to my well-intended posts as "ranting." Surely we can agree to disagree on this one point and still remain friends. I have great respect for you as a trader, and I don't want to lose your friendship over this stupid little point. I have a pretty think skin. I was not insulted in any way by the fact that we didn't see eye to eye on training, and believe it or not, I agree with you that when it comes to learning about the program itself, there are more things that could be done. You are also right about the manual -- in some key places it is somewhat shallow in details. I would like to see examples of when Quote and Print alerts come into play, for example. I eventually learned to use Quote Alerts to see what is playing and Print Alerts to see what is moving...
But this is neither here nor there...once again, my apologies... |
