Split occurs on the latter day ... certificates are issued TO the owners of record which most of the time are the brokerages since the securities are registed using 'street name' ... By the way Stan, about the Viasoft article, no doubt those analysts are peaking at the threads ... to bad I don't post my EMAIL address, I might be on the wanted list
