she did spring to life as the brainchild of Western, the CD-ROM game
maker's subsidiary. Through a license with MGM, Wanderlust also employs
the Pink Panther and his buddies the Inspector, Dr. Von Schmarty, the
Ant, and the Aardvark as protagonists in two its educational games,
Passport to Peril and Postcard to Peril. Western has developed more than
40 video and computer games, including X-Men for Sega, and more than 20
electronic toys, including Mattel's Talk to Me Barbie.
