Jeez, just noticed what happened to HYBR today. Guess DD isn't worthless after all; sales must be even less than what was previously reported, ie, close to zero! The broadband market sounds great to everyone but I wouldn't bet anything on a company that depends on the cable industry to make it successful. @Home is another one that gets great press but if you look at the actual numbers there's very little to hang your hat on. My guess is it's going to be ADSL and its varients that do the job...but not from the RBOCs. Sooner or later, it'll turn over to wireless, but it's hard to pick the right players at this early stage. The best thing I've heard about so far is the deal between DSTR and Teleport for service to MDUs in NYC. As a soon-to-be AT&T subsidiary, T and/or Teleport could then offer condo dwellers combined long distance and local with something that really matters to the Seinfeld set that lives around Central Park - high speed internet. Bought DSTR too high because I'm not Amigo Mike, but may average down on that one as soon as I know it looks like it's bottomed out. Phil
