Erika, You are exactly the reason that Microsoft needs to be reined in. You get your computer... Hey it has Internet Explorer all set up as the default browser. You use it.. it works great. Why on earth would you complicate your internet/computing experience buy either downloading or switching to Navigator.. You and most people new to computing wouldn't dream of it, and I agree, wouldn't make sense to do so.. So Internet Explorer's share will most definitely increase by nearly 100% of new users. So 1st IE....what's next..Real Audio, Video, telephony, banking..etc etc.. As long as Microsoft has complete control of what gets integrated into the operating system their market share will increase.. always approaching 93% (or whatever market share of the operating system they currently have at the time), So Microsoft gets to "direct" you as to what "they" think is good for your computing experiences.. This is detrimental, because if Microsoft can't buy the most innovative new technology "you" may never get to see/use it... Also, an upstart company who does have great new innovative technology may never get it to the public, because Microsoft decides it has a better idea (one that it can buy).. This is bad (IMO) and it is the reason Microsoft needs to be broken up... Roger R
