could be you're trying to slip a gala costume gown on a skeleton it twarn't made to fit and if you could force it on couldn't get to the party by itself , no how........
the hip bone connected to the thigh bone, etc.........

SPX and OEX and SPZ ---- all work semi together and mostly go in the same direction most of the time.......

ALL of my forecasts work from this premise
SPZ leads
SPX follows immediately
OEX lags behind somewhat but like a shadow isn't far behind

But that doesn't mean there will be a identifiable pattern which can be interpreted into having a forecastable outcome
.
The BigBox digests millions of bits of info and during the day there are dozens of moves on the X that are larger than 2 points, yet the BBx can only forecast 2 or 3 with accuracy and I've found that when it does the OEX follows so closely that I can trade it and make a profit even in spite of the spread.
AND
that's what I'm looking for...

It is possible that the divergence of the 3, or the anticipated divergence makes the BBx to not make some calls.

I don't care as long as what it tells me is accurate and correct.....

This probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's what I think and act upon.
