Joe,

re: JAWZ

As far as encryption technology is concerned, the mathematical models used by JAWZ are truly impressive mechanisms. JAWZ is into a wide variety of technologies that are projected to generate a multi-billion dollar marketplace by 2002. World commerce is rapidly becoming inter / intra / extranet oriented. The need for secure transactions is clear, but more important, and much more marketable, is the secure warehousing, access, distribution and mining of data. Secure encryption is rapidly becoming an absolute "must have."

Aside from encryption, biometric technology is also on their hit list, (the scanning of body parts, etc, for unique identifiers ~ finger prints, iris patterns, voice recog., etc.). This is thought to be the only true way for people to prove that they are whom they say they are, but believe it or not, that must be used in combination with unique knowledge variants, such as encryption passcoding, for flawless accuracy. If I dial in, how does the server know that I am who I say I am? Sorry about the techno-speak... the bottom line is that JAWZ looks very sound from a technological perspective.

As you may have read in one of my USTI posts, in the software technology arena, SALES DRIVES EVERYTHING. There have been hundreds of excellent software titles and technologies based on home-spun algorhythms, that never made it to the marketplace, or did a clock-wise gurgle around and down the bowl, because they were either:

1. Under capitalized
2. Unable to deliver
3. Had pin heads in marketing
4. Infringed on patents and were sued
5. Suffocated with litigation by deep pocket competition
6. Had pin heads in marketing

Assuming that their products work as advertised, is their business plan sound? What's the history of their leadership? How savvy and experienced is their marketing staff? If JAWZ is indeed to become big, are they thinking big? Are they promoting big? Are they spending big? Are they partnering with big? Are they geared for big?

So far, I like what I see. If the wizards of DD on the JAWZ thread can answer positive on my last paragraph of Q's, then this could prove to be an absolutely killer buy at current price. The nature of their potential tells me IMHO to purchase a nice block of JAWZ and sock it away with open IRA dollars. Did this with MAMH, BTW.

Best regards,

Wooly
