To date there are no sunstantiated reports of MEMC striking a deal with INTC. There have been rumors. Right now, INTC gets a lot of wafers from SEH in OR to feed their OR fabs and Sumitomo in ABQ to feed that line. They also buy from Wacker. INTC is pretty close mouthed about their suppliers, but you can see the boxes going in the door. Getting INTC's business would go a long way towards absorbing the expansion costs MEMC is eating (choking on?) right now, but only insofar as domestic production is concerned. They spent a lot of money in Asia and it remains to be seen when that capacity can be fully absorbed. They won't start making that $2 /share until that happens!

I put my shares in my Roth and forget about them for now. Things are starting to look over blown in the general market. I'm a little nervous about a general decline, but I don't think I'll lose very much on WFR.
