Flyer, The Joes in Corpus Christi was meant to look more like a wharf cafe or something. It had a beat-up tin roof applied to the inside, and a lot of rough boards were used. I think the tables were pine. I am not that hot on seafood, so it didn't interest me that much, so I'll probably not go there much. I also live 35 miles from it, on the gulf Coast. We have plenty of seafood here.
