Good question.

IMO, conventional piston engines are going to be around for a long time regardless of other technologies being looked at...fuel cell, hybrid or OX2 should the latter prove viable. And the existing diesels will need Turbopac to clean them up.

I don't think any of the above constitute in any way a near-term threat to Turbodyne.

As a wild guess, should this OX2 engine work out, I would imagine that the first real applications would be to replace noisy, dirty two-cycle engines in lawn mowers, outboard boat motors, leaf blowers etc.

Vehicle manufacturers would need a long, long time to convince themselves to replace existing engines with something radically new.
