The explorer is not free. It is just part of the OS, and sold for $109>

If MSFT can't integrate with explorer as a result of hurting competitors, then it also
means Intel can't integrate memory into CPU , because it will hurt the business of
pure memory companies. It also means INTEL can't integrate the audio, video functions into its CPU, because it will hurt the capability of competition of companies like S3, Cirus Logics. It also means software companies can't integrate the software modems into their softwares, because it will hurt the business of Rockwell . It also means semiconductor companies can not integrate DSP into their chips, because it
will hurt the business of TI, who sell DSP chips as a single product. It also means the end of our high tech industry.
