Dear Bill:

I truly hope my comments regarding your very detailed posts are not considered intrusive by you or any of your fellow colleagues. This is my first time visiting SI and have so far found the discussions regarding CyberCorp interesting and helpful to say the least. Your insistence on Cybercorp's responsibility to train their people on the proper use of what is clearly a very sophisticated product is entirely justified. I too believe that a company that dares deliver a complex yet powerful trading vehicle through which people risk their financial futures has a corporate if not moral responsibility to train their users. This not only makes common sense, it makes perfect business sense as well, for you, the client, is and always will be the best form of advertising a firm could possibly have. THAT is your power, your edge your value to the firm, and it should not be forgotten by any of you. In fact, it should be used to your fullest advantage.

What I would like to reveal to you and all the rest at this point is that the good people at Cybercorp do in fact have your best interest at heart. They have quietly heard your calls for training and greater direction. That is why they have chosen to align with us, The Pristine Organization. With our alliance (CyberCorp & Pristine), we are working on becoming their training arm, if you will. And when I say training I don't mean simply learning how to "fire" your weapon, per se. But knowing "when" to fire, "where" to fire, and "what" manner in which to fire. What Cybercorp has fully realized is that giving people a powerful "Smith and Wesson" if you will, is not enough. The product, which is clearly one of, if not, the best, is not the final necessity. In fact it's only a small part of the overall equation. If Cybercorp is to create long term users of its product, it's got to teach people how to be profitable with it. Isn't that the ultimate goal after which all of you are striving? This is precisely why Cybercorp found our association a perfect match. While they are masters at creating the high-end technology required to execute in today's complex market arena, they are admittedly NOT experts in training people how to trade. The truth of the matter is that a well trained TRADER with an inferior execution vehicle will always be able to outperform the less than astute trader with a superior execution vehicle. Give a carpenter a hammer and he will be build you an edifice. Give the same hammer (technolgy) to an ill-informed ballet dancer, and he may bang his thumb. Pristine has entered the picture, with your permission mind you, if you grant that, to train all to be master carpenters, not simply financial ballet dancers.

We have also been given the rights to devise our own product which will feature some items exclusive to our users. Items such as scans which produce picks based certain Pristine criteria, etc. Many other items that I will reveal at a future date will also be made available to our users.

The point is, Cybercorp "IS" addressing your training concerns and they will be in place for you to take advantage of shortly. I will make sure that you and all of the users will have not only a firm understanding of the product, but more importantly the trading concepts that will make you successful traders irrespective of the execution vehicle you use. That is and always will be the thing of REAL value. You do need the Technology. Don't get me wrong. But without the training, as you have so correctly determined, what good is the product. The product is simply an extention of one's knowledge, capabilities, and experience. Without the latter, the former is just fancy, somewhat expensive apparatus. It sounds like you agree.

I assure you that we at Pristine will do our best to combine what we and Cybercorp do best. Training AND technology. Together, we will be unbeatable, which means that you as a user will be unbeatable.

In closing, I'd like to thank you Bill, so much, for your dedicated efforts which have been very instrumental in making Cybercorp recognize how important giving you the proper training foundation is. If you think your relentless persistence has gone unrecognized, you are mistaken. It has brought Pristine along, and I have made a personal comittment not to let you down.

If I have in anyway violated a protocal that has been established amongst you, please regard it as sheer ignorance on my part. I in no way desired to intrude or offend. Only to help.

You are doing a great job in keeping people abreast with your experiences at Cybercorp. I only wish we in the industry had more people like you and your friends.

I am always available for comment.

Your faithful teacher,

Oliver L. Velez, editor
