This is a distinct possibility, of course depending on the respective legislation in each country. In Switzerland for example, there are no capital gains taxes. I think in Germany there are not now, but politicians are thinking about it. I don't know for Poland. If you trade ADRs traded in the U.S. you are subject to the U.S. legislation only.

Check out RNE. They invest in all of Eastern Europe, Poland should be in it also. Vi may know more about their current portfolio. You may wish to check
