i spoke to Katie D. at RDRT IR yesterday, and of all the 2.8GB and 3.4GB quals they expect in the next 2 to 4 weeks the 3.4GB qual at Maxtor seemed to be the one she emphasized. I asked specifically whether they expected a 3.4 qual at WDC and she indicated that they did. In addition, Katie mentioned that IBM had been removed from the 2.8 Program at Maxtor After i posted my question to you i called IR at WDC and Carol Stanton indicated that IBM was suppling the heads for the new drive announced yesterday (2.87GB)
