Ran across the following bit of info this morning: The XAU/Spot Ratio fell below its 200 day moving average on October 16, 1987. A 500 point Dow drop followed. The XAU/Spot Ratio fell below its 200 day moving average on October 24, 1997. A 500 point Dow drop followed. The XAU/Spot Ratio fell below its 200 day moving average yesterday. I thought April was supposed to be the cruelest month. --Alan
