If a split was to appear on the horizon, I would probably look cloely at trading around the split window ... there will be lots of time and warning available, so it's a non-issue at this point. Summary ... the reverse split psychological downside is not a problem if you simply trade around it. Your comments that it would help the stock's visibility are accurate. I'd rather not r-split in June, but wait to cross $5 in the fall.
