Just a detached observer (at least I think it has no financial consequenses to me personally). Looking back at DOJ's previous actions, I don't think they've helped things much in this area -- trust-busting, etc. I can see legitimate points on both sides of the aisle. Don't want to argue about it. I just don't see the DOJ's 'interference' as particularly troubling to the economy as a whole. They hurt someone to someone else's gain. It is all politically motivated, there's no doubt about that.

My only point was, I guess, in the long run -- so what? If the NAZ falls 80 points tomorrow will we blame the DOJ or if there is a slow-down in PC sales or a price war that hurts profits will we blame DOJ? I don't see this hurting MSFT's world comptetiveness that much.

Just waiting on the sidelines to see how high the relief rally will push us today. Good luck on your positions.

Barry
