John, something funny is going on. Let me assure you that Cisco was removed from the Siebel site for at least several days. I looked at it on Weds and Thurs of last week, and on Thurs, I was in the office of a money manager in NYC. The CSCO logo is back on the SEBL site this AM.

Lucent is still gone.

With respect to your comment about customer satisfaction and accounting - John, that's what a lot of this is all about. If customers aren't satisfied, what's wrong with asking about that? And, what's wrong with asking about accounting? There is no shortage of firms that have blown up over accounting irregularities - Cendant and Informix are two large ones who come to mind.

BTW, if you think that the implementation of SEBL is a "secret" to someone's competitor, well, I think you're being naive. Also, my data shows that the issue is not whether or not someone is a SEBL customer - the issue is the ability of a customer to discuss the implementation freely. If a customer elects to not discuss - that's OK. But, SEBL's agreement prevents most customers from openly discussing the implementation.

Contrast this with the open book reference policy of other vendors. What's being hidden?

And your comment - "VNTV vs. SEBL -- there's no comparison" - what are you comparing? Technology? Support products? Friendliness of the approach? What?

Looks like you are some sort of implementation partner with SEBL. Good to see you are loyal to your bread and butter. Hope you feel the same as the smaller SI partners get squeezed out.
