Latency in MCOM's current network depends on how many "hops" your signal needs to make until it finds a lightpole that is connected to the net. The point is that there are parts of Seattle where _today_ Ricochet provides perfectly acceptable voice over IP capabilities. Also, I think it is premature to make assumptions about what Autobahn's latency characteristics will be. Chip via Ricochet
