That will make AT&T highly competitive with the vaunted Sprint-Earthlink combo. Given the million or so new subscribers AOL has been getting each quarter, I guess he's telling us that this time next year AT&T will be even further behind than it is today.

All I see so far in this so-called competition with AOL is a bunch of competitors fragmenting each other's market. They show no evidence as yet of eating into AOL's growth or share in the way that would actually begin to close the gap.
