Let's say we agreed on the magnitude of the Y2K problem. ( Which I don't, it's a real problem, but it's not going to be the end of life as we know it.)

I do not understand why you think any resulting market collapse will occur within days or weeks because of a Y2K related event or fear.

I simply cannot see that occurring until there is visible evidence of system-wide failures.
