Due to the exchange restrictions and Dells volatility, Dell options can no longer be placed via the internet. You can call Dell option orders to a broker or not place them at all that is up to you.

Sounds cheesy. Although my account/s are not abroad, I am able to buy and sell DELL options via internet at will. Volatility should have nothing to do with things -- although you should not expect to receive accurate quotes (or timely order confirmation) during fast markets.

DELL options are traded exclusively on the Philadelphia exchange -- an archaic exchange by today's standards. Maybe Dreyfus simply doesn't want the added headaches?
